The company’s newly launched next-generation Guxin intelligent glass color sorter, leveraging cutting-edge AI algorithms and multispectral fusion technology, has achieved high-precision, high-efficiency sorting of crushed glass, marking a significant advancement for China in the field of intelligent sorting of solid waste.
As urbanization accelerates, the recycling of waste glass from construction and municipal solid waste has become an increasingly pressing issue. Traditional sorting methods suffer from low efficiency and poor purity, making them a longstanding pain point in the industry. The new glass-sorting machine developed by Guxin leverages AI algorithms and a multispectral imaging system to precisely detect even the slightest color and material differences in glass fragments, effectively separating out impurities such as ceramics, stones, metals, and glass of different colors. This equipment delivers outstanding core performance: color-sorting accuracy exceeds 99.9%, and the reject rate is tightly controlled below 2%, significantly reducing the loss of high-quality materials. In addition, it supports both dry and wet sorting modes to accommodate diverse site conditions, and can efficiently sort a wide range of particle sizes—from 1 mm glass fines to 150 mm glass chunks—meeting the full spectrum of processing needs, from construction-demolition waste to everyday household glass scrap. Notably, while delivering high sorting efficiency, the machine also achieves a substantial reduction in overall energy consumption and boasts exceptional operational stability, helping recycling companies continuously cut operating costs. Glass sorted by this equipment attains an exceptionally high purity, readily meeting the raw-material standards required by high-end glass-product manufacturers, thereby fully closing the critical loop that turns waste glass into valuable resources.
