Grain Xin Color Sorter for Bricks and Concrete – Sorting Solution
Category:
Product Description
The Guxin brick‑concrete dedicated color sorter is a tracked sorting machine specifically designed for the resource recovery of construction waste and solid waste. It addresses four key challenges—separating mixed brick and concrete materials, purifying recycled aggregates, removing foreign contaminants, and grading material quality—and accommodates both dry and wet operating conditions, handling particle sizes from 0.5 to 15 cm. With high precision, high throughput, and low energy consumption at its core, it enables an upgrade from conventional sorting to intelligent sorting.
I. Product Applications:
1. Sorting of demolished crushed brick and concrete mixtures (the most common method)
Raw material: Red bricks, concrete blocks, and a small amount of sand and gravel mixed together, obtained from the demolition of old residential neighborhoods, industrial buildings, and urban villages, and subsequently crushed and screened.
Particle size: dry separation 0.5–15 cm; wet separation 1–15 cm, compatible with the discharge specifications of mainstream crushing plants.
Sorting objectives: Accurately separate red bricks (red/cyan), concrete blocks (grayish‑blue), and clean sand and gravel; remove impurities such as plastic, wood, glass, metal, and construction waste.
Value: Red bricks can be reused to manufacture bricks, pave roads, and produce aggregates; concrete blocks, after crushing, yield high‑grade recycled aggregates (C30+), which are used in ready‑mix concrete, permeable paving bricks, and road subgrades; sand and gravel can be directly processed into premium manufactured sand, increasing added value by 30% or more.
Capacity: 30–100 tons per hour, suitable for small and medium-sized solid waste processing lines, mobile crushing stations, and village‑town demolition projects.
Operating conditions: high dust levels, high humidity, and material containing mud; equipment is waterproof and dustproof, washable, and features a track system designed to prevent material jamming.
2. Sorting and purifying construction waste/mixed solid waste to remove impurities
Raw materials: construction and renovation waste, demolition debris, and municipal mixed solid waste, including ceramic tiles, floor tiles, concrete blocks, red bricks, stone materials, plastics, wooden strips, and more.
Task: Remove lightweight contaminants (plastic, paper, wood) and foreign‑colored materials (ceramic tiles, glass), and purify the recycled cement aggregate and red brick material to prevent impurities from compromising the strength and appearance of the recycled aggregates.
3. Fine-grained classification of construction waste (high value-added)
Process: crushing → screening → color sorting → re-crushing → re-screening, forming a closed-loop system.
Classification:
Level 1: Pure concrete blocks (≥99%) → High-end recycled aggregates;
Secondary: Pure red bricks (≥99%) → Recycled brick aggregate / landscape bricks;
Level 3: Mixed aggregates (with controllable brick-to-concrete ratio) → subgrade/water-stabilized layer;
Grade 4: Fine sand (0.1–5 mm) → raw material for dry-mix mortar or permeable bricks.
4. Typical Operating Conditions and Target Customers
Environment: Outdoor/factory floor, high dust levels, humid conditions, materials containing mud, continuous 24-hour operation;
Materials: Irregular shapes, mixed sizes, similar colors (brick/concrete), and dusty surfaces.
Grain-size blending: Supports three blending ranges—0.5–3 cm, 3–8 cm, and 8–15 cm—eliminating the need for separate size‑classification processing.
Core customers: construction waste treatment plants, recycled aggregate producers, and solid waste resource‑utilization companies; demolition contractors and mobile crushing plant operators; as well as manufacturers of building materials, environmental protection products, and recycled‑resource processing facilities.
