The pegmatite feedstock brought by the delegation this time features a complex mineral composition, with numerous fine impurities that are difficult to discern with the naked eye, and very little variation in ore color—making it far more challenging to sort than typical minerals and representing a major sorting pain point for comparable equipment in the Indian market. The delegation first conducted a brief tour of Guxin’s intelligent production workshop, where they highly commended the company’s precision manufacturing of core components and its rigorous quality-control system for the entire machine. They then focused on the key requirements and proceeded to the product demonstration center for an on-site trial run. During the trial, Guxin staff loaded the pegmatite feedstock provided by the customer into the hopper of the Guxin color sorter. The next-generation AI-powered sorting equipment, equipped with multispectral imaging technology and custom-designed intelligent algorithms, quickly kicked into action, accurately detecting color differences and compositional characteristics among the mineral particles in the feedstock. Within just a few minutes, the machine completed the sorting process efficiently: the original feedstock, which had been mixed with quartz, feldspar, and mica impurities, was cleanly separated into high-purity quartz. By comparing the feedstock before and after sorting, the delegation members found that the sorted pegmatite quartz exhibited uniform color and a purity level exceeding 99%, with even the finest impurities—those less than 0.5 millimeters in diameter—completely removed, far surpassing the Indian customer’s expectations.
