Installation Notes

Safety Precautions:

Please handle unpacking and inspection with care. Avoid causing unnecessary damage during the process, verify the quantity of parts against the packing list inside the box, and store them properly to prevent loss.
1. During installation, carefully inspect the color-sorting machine’s lifting eye bolts to ensure they are secure and reliable, in order to prevent accidents.
2. This product should be installed in environments free from strong magnetic fields, intense illumination, and excessive dust.
3. Safety grounding measures for color sorters: The power supply itself must be properly grounded.

Grounding wire fabrication method:

Fabricated by galvanized welding, with all welds wrapped in asphalt.

To prevent static electricity, all user-supplied feed pipes, discharge pipes, and exhaust ducts must be made of metal; plastic pipes and other non-metallic pipes are prohibited.
User-supplied air compressors and other equipment shall comply with relevant national laws, regulations, and standards.
The user power supply connection shall comply with national safety standards and be equipped with a dust-proof device to prevent dust ingress.

Machine installation conditions:
1. Venue Requirements
The installation site for the color sorting machine shall be level and stable, and the surrounding area of the constructed work platform shall be free from strong vibration sources.
The installation site for the compressor and air storage tank must be located far from populated areas to minimize noise pollution and other potential hazards. At the same time, we recommend that customers install the compressor
Store the gas storage tank in a well-ventilated, dry location to help keep the compressed gas clean and dry.

2. Environmental Requirements
Like most common household appliances, color sorters require an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 40°C; therefore, we recommend installing air-conditioned rooms in high-temperature regions and heated rooms in low-temperature regions.

3. Lighting Requirements
Ambient lighting directly affects the color-sorting performance of the color sorter; therefore, strong direct sunlight should be avoided, and overhead lighting should not be positioned directly above the machine. At the same time, adequate illumination is necessary to ensure safe operation and maintenance of the color sorter.

4. Maintenance Space
Sufficient clearance must be provided around the color sorter for commissioning and maintenance; we recommend reserving

5. Grounding Wire Requirements
Grounding the color sorter can prevent equipment damage caused by lightning strikes or electric shock accidents resulting from improper operation. We recommend that customers pre-embed the grounding wire during platform installation.
To prevent interference, the color sorter must be equipped with a dedicated grounding conductor, and the grounding resistance shall not exceed 4 Ω.

Color sorting machine installation:
Prior to installation, the user shall fabricate the color-sorting machine’s operating platform in accordance with the equipment platform dimension drawing. The platform elevation shall be approximately 1.0 m, and it must be securely welded and perfectly level.
The color sorter is a precision instrument; during handling, mechanical deformation caused by vibration must be avoided. We strongly recommend that customers use a forklift or crane for moving the equipment. If, due to site constraints, a pry bar must be used, the base skids must remain in place throughout the entire relocation process. Only after the color sorter has been moved to the vicinity of the platform may the base skids be removed, at which point a chain hoist or other lifting device should be employed to carefully lower the unit onto the platform. Once the color sorter is positioned on the platform, its levelness must be adjusted using a leveling instrument to within 2 mm per 1000 mm.
The aggregate hopper of the color sorter should be aligned with the user’s feed pipe, which must be equipped with a flow-control plate and a storage bin. Moreover, the feed pipe should not be allowed to press down on the aggregate hopper, as this would reduce the color sorter’s output.
